What actually kills laptops on a ship
Salt air is the first one. It does not attack the aluminium body in any dramatic way, it creeps into ports, into fan intakes, and onto the board, and then the machine dies slowly over one contract and fails on the next. Two things to say about that table honestly. Every one of those tests is a travel test, not a sea test, so none of it tells you how the machine handles nine months of 70 percent humidity. The Windows argument is company software.
