A few things worth reading out of that table.
ParkMyPhone dropped its prices recently. Its pricing page as of 19 August 2026 shows the old figures struck through: $3 replaced by $2 a month, and a $15 porting fee replaced by $5. The exact date the new pricing took effect is not published, so treat it as current-as-of-August and check before you commit to an annual payment.
NumberBarn has gone the other way over the long run. A comparison article from August 2015 listed basic parking there at $2 a month, against $2.99 today. Over eleven years that is a mild increase, which tells you the category is stable rather than volatile.
VoIPly is the only one in this group that documents SMS forwarding on the parking product itself, alongside voicemail-to-email and call announcements, at $20.00 a year with no port-in or activation fee as of 15 April 2026. That sounds like the answer to the 2FA problem, and for low-stakes accounts it can be. VoIPly is a VoIP provider, so parked numbers there are VoIP numbers, and they fall under the same blocking pattern the 2026 US 2FA guide describes for banks. There is no published figure for how much SMS the forwarding tier will carry, so do not plan around volume.

Why banks treat VoIP numbers differently

That line does not need data. It needs to exist, stay active, and receive text messages. Whether you can read those messages from the ship is a separate problem, solved by forwarding, by a family member, or by whatever connectivity you actually have onboard.
